What makes Capricare® goat infant milk very special is that it is entirely owned and made by the world leaders in goat infant milk, Dairy Goat Co-operative.
Dairy Goat Co-operative is a co-operative of goat farmers in New Zealand who originated safe and effective, commercialised infant milk made from goats’ milk.
Their home, New Zealand, is not only the first place in the world to see the sun every day, but it is a farming paradise, with lush natural grass feed available all year for goats. Dairy Goat Co-operative have a legacy of advanced thinking that respects sustainable, natural food making.
Breast milk is the best way to feed a baby and is important for baby’s health. Introducing partial bottle feeding could negatively affect breast feeding. Professional advice should be sought before using an infant formula. Good maternal nutrition is important for breastfeeding and reversing a decision not to breast-feed can be difficult.
Proper use of an infant formula product is important to the health of the infant. Infant formulas should be used as directed.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) adopted the International Code of Marketing Breast-milk Substitutes in 1981.
The aim of the Code is to contribute to the provision of safe and adequate nutrition for infants, by the protection and promotion of breast-feeding, and by ensuring the proper use of breast-milk substitutes, when these are necessary, on the basis of adequate information and through appropriate marketing and distribution.
As a responsible manufacturer of infant formula, DGC (Dairy Goat Co-operative (N.Z.) Ltd) and its partners support the Code and unequivocally supports breastfeeding as the best source of nutrition for babies and infants.
